RMTs are health care professionals—you do not need to tip, nor are you expected to. Return visits and referrals are always greatly appreciated.

During treatment, you will always be covered—only the targeted area will be exposed. Your comfort and relaxation is the most important thing.

The cushion allows most women to lay face down up until the end of their term. If you experience discomfort, a body pillow can be used, allowing you to lay sideways.
To receive a massage therapy diploma in British Columbia, 3,000 hours of training at an accredited college is required. Candidates must then pass a series of Provincial Board Exams, administered by the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia, to qualify as a Registered Massage Therapist. To stay licensed, RMTs must achieve credits at approved postgraduate courses every two years.
